About
Amanda Cassidy.
NASM certified personal trainer and nutritionist in Lafayette. She trains women and men. Personal training, nutrition coaching, or both.

Training since high school. Teaching by day. Coaching for real life.
Amanda is 58. She has trained most of her life, starting in high school. She is the mother of two grown young men. Helping people was already how she moved through the world — she got certified so she could do it with a plan, not just encouragement.
She is a full-time certified teacher for grades 1–8: ELA, science, and social studies. When she is not motivating young minds, she is motivating her clients to be their best selves through consistent training and nutrition.
If you have hired a trainer who disappeared after the sale, or followed a plan written for a life you don't have — you are the client she built this for.
I am good at this. I love watching people transform. What I love more is the lightbulb — when they realize they can do more than they ever thought they could.
Years of too much sitting. Food that never got tracked. A college athlete who lost a bit of mobility. Getting it back takes dedication — not nostalgia.

What compassionate accountability actually means.
It is not permissiveness. You will have a plan. You will be asked how the week went. You will not be shamed for a bad Thursday.
It is also not a hype account. Amanda coaches in Lafayette — in person, in real rooms, with people who have jobs, families, and knees that have opinions.
The work is simple: get stronger, eat enough protein, recover with proper sleep, and keep a human in the loop so the plan survives the week it usually dies.
NASM-CPT
Nationally accredited personal training. Programming, form, and progression you can trust.
Nutritionist
Food that fits Acadiana living. Targets, not a grocery list from someone who's never had a Sunday lunch.
Local
Lafayette and the Acadiana area — women and men. This is not an app with a stranger on the other side of the country.
Life does not pause for a perfect routine.
Sessions are built around the week you have. If that means a shorter lift, an outdoor session under the oaks, or nutrition that can handle a packed calendar — that's the work. Consistency beats a heroic plan you abandon.
